I’m Josh Geenen, a data enthusiast and problem solver with a passion for turning complex information into clear, actionable insights. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, a Certificate in Social Science Research Methods, and a minor in Psychology — a combination that gives me both analytical depth and human-centered perspective in my work.
Over the years, I’ve built a diverse technical toolkit that includes Power BI, Tableau, DOMO, Python, SQL, and Excel, and I’ve used these tools to design meaningful dashboards, automate reporting processes, and reveal insights that help organizations make better data-driven decisions. In my role as a Business Analyst at Liveops, I’ve worked directly with decision-makers to build and maintain hundreds of visualizations, streamline workflows, and manage large datasets with precision and efficiency.
Beyond analytics, I’ve gained experience in research and storytelling — from assisting on academic research projects using R and visualization libraries to reporting on business, science, and technology for The State Press. These experiences have shaped how I think about data not just as numbers, but as a narrative that can inform, persuade, and drive impact.
I love building tools and workflows that save time, reduce friction, and empower teams to focus on high-value work. Whether it’s writing Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks or crafting a compelling chart that brings insight to light, I’m driven by the idea that data, when thoughtfully interpreted, can unlock better decisions and smarter strategies.
